Local Fairs, Music Festivals, and Amusement Parks

For starters, the Georgia State Fair going on now through October 7th and is a classic date option! You and your date can enjoy the rides, play games (win your date a prize), share a funnel cake, and spark up a good conversation while you enjoy the romantic view from the top of the Farris wheel. There are also music festivals in Atlanta from April* until late October.

Brewery Tour and Dinner

With over a dozen local breweries in the Atlanta area, you are sure to find one with drinks and a menu to suit your taste. Take a tour of the brewery to see how the local craft beers are made, taste test the ones that look best to you, then enjoy a great meal with your new found favorite drink! Outside Outings
Outdoor dates can be a refreshing upgrade to the classic dinner date. Take your date for a sweet picnic at a local park followed by a drive-in movie. Looking for something more unique? Tour the city on land, water, or air. Bike tours are cheap (or free!) and easy, and you can make use of the while a canoe trip down the Chattahoochee gives a different view and sense of adventure. Aquarium Date Night
Treat your date to a unique night of drinks, fun, and sea life at the Georgia Aquarium’s “Sips Under the Sea” event. For guests age 21 and older, the aquarium opens up at night for an adult cocktail party, setting the stage for a date to remember. Themes and menus change for each event, with discounts for members and a sleepover option for an extra charge. The next one is the Friday, Oct. 26th 2018. Tickets range from $20-$50 per person. Glass Blowing
Ever wanted to try your hand, or mouth, at glass blowing? Why not take your date and make a night of it? Decatur Glass Blowing offers a date night lesson for you and your special someone, no experience needed. Hotlanta Glassblowing has a great deal for two, going on right now. You and your date will choose between a flower, paperweight, or ornament during a 90 minute, hands on, private instructional session. Each person will get to make their own one of a kind piece of art from a variety of colors. Escape Room Date
Escape Rooms are an exciting new adventure sweeping the area.  For speed dating, group dates, or one-on-one, these real-life puzzle games will provide fun and challenge all in one. Described as an “interactive adventure game” players solve puzzles from clues to escape from the room and “win” the game. With several different rooms and themes to choose from, you and your date can be challenged, thrilled, and excited all at once.
