Do It Together This Valentine’s Day With The Couple App

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we’ve been paying very close attention to some amazing things you can do as a couple. We found one of the coolest and cutest apps ever that’s sure to keep in touch with you sweetie honey love all the time. This app is exclusively for couples! Once you download it to your iPhone or Android phone, you’re prompted to send an invitation to your partner. After they accept your invitation, it’s just the two of you in a secluded app space where you can totally be yourself with each other. It’s like your own private chat room, without all the private messaging from annoying cyber strangers. With the Couple App, you both collaborate on doodles, play games, send reminders, Instant Message, send videos + photos, voice notes, and more. Our favorite feature is the “Thumb Kiss”. Here’s how it works. You initiate the action and press your thumb against the screen of your phone. What your partner sees is your thumbprints on their screen and do the same. As both virtual thumbprints match up, the phone flutters with a soft vibration, aka a thumb kiss. Yes, we admit, it’s totally mushy, but we love it. Believe it or not you’ll feel a bit connected when this happens– now that’s what we call “computer love”. Not only do we like it, this app has already gotten thousands of flying reviews. The Couple App is clean-looking, very user-friendly, and totally deserves a try. Check out their launch video in the link below and of course download the app.   Do More Together, With Couple...
Fun With Pick Up Lines

Fun With Pick Up Lines

Yesterday my 12 year old daughter came home and shared a pick up line that a boy at her school used on her. I fell out laughing and that where the inspiration from today’s post came from. I sat here thinking of some lines I’ve heard that were cute, funny, classic, or just plain ol’ corny! When meeting someone for the first time, no matter what line you use, be sure you’re being yourself. BTW, this first pick up line is the one used on my daughter! Hey are you using WiFi? Oh, because I felt a connection.   You’re so beautiful that you made me forget my pick up line.   Can I buy you a drink?   You look like we belong together.   I’ve seem to have lost my phone number, could I borrow yours?   Damn, if being sexy was a crime, you’d be guilty as charged!   Smoking is hazardous to your health… and baby, you’re killing me!   Call me AC/DC, because I’m gonna rock you all night long!   Excuse me, is this seat taken?   Girl you’re so fine, I bet you have more followers than Beyonce.   Tu n’as pas eu mal quand tu es tombé du ciel? (You aren’t hurt from when you fell from heaven?)   You know you remind me of someone— what’s her name?  Oh that’s right, my new girlfriend. Funny Pick Up Line Videos on YouTube    ...
How I Created My Successful Speed Dating Business and What I’ve Learned Along The Way

How I Created My Successful Speed Dating Business and What I’ve Learned Along The Way

I just got off the phone with Kimberlyn, one of my excited customers who recently purchased a Match in Six Speed Dating Kit. I’m so glad we spoke, because I was able to get some amazing feedback that I’m sure When I first learned about Speed Dating itself, I had no idea to host an event, much less what I needed to make sure everything ran smooth. I did 2 years of research, what I like to call: “speed dating business hunting” all over the internet and the city. Information in 2005 was scarce on the topic, and I was basically left on my own to create what I was looking for. will make each kit much better and even more useful for my customers and their guests. As I hosted my very first stand alone events, I overlooked things like parking, printing costs, city permits, and experienced a lot of heartbreaking disappointments and loss of cold hard cash. I remember it like it was yesterday. I spend my last $100 on printing full-color flyers it took me 3 days to design. It was the day before the Independence Day Parade, so my strategy was to hang all my flyers and posters downtown on light posts, poles, and buildings to help get the word out for my event. It took me nearly 4 hours to finish. I remember the exhale I took as I stapled my last flyer on a tree nearby one of the popular downtown pubs. I was relieved and proud that I’d finished my job and really put everything I had into marketing this event. Later I attended...
Our Speed Dating Kits

Our Speed Dating Kits

We’re  so proud to say that we’ve had much success with helping others create amazing speed dating events with out Speed Dating Kits. The kit comes with just about everything you need to get started with hosting and planning your own events. It all started when I was doing my own research back in 2005 on how to put together a singles speed dating event. I searched high and low for anything that would help me with my event, but I found NOTHING! Once I got my events started, learned everything I could, and began hosting successful events. I decided it was time to share my knowledge and help others with the areas where I once struggled. I knew there had to be other’s out there who wanted the information that I gathered. So, I decided to start creating speed dating kits for anyone looking to get a boost in the industry. Each kit includes a timer, a horn, table place cards, instructions, speed dating host script and so much more   We sold our first speed dating kit in June 2012, and it is still very exciting each and every time we get an order. Our goal is to have satisfied customers, hands down! We make it a point to add something special in each package and handle each one like it is our first order. We’ve sold over 3 dozen kits since 2012! Our goal as a company is to continue to listen to our customers and improve our products, service, and...
Single During the Holiday Season

Single During the Holiday Season

Being single is not all that bad, unless dating season is over or coming to an end and the Holiday Season has arrived. As we all know, the warmer months are great for being single and dating; there is plenty to see and do in the company of a love interest. However, the goal is to find someone to spend time with all year around, not just during the peak season of dating. In case you are wondering, dating season officially begins on Feb 15th, the day after Valentin’s Day and ends November 1st.   If you are starting a between the Holiday Season and Valentine’s Day it can be a bit complicated, especially when it comes to exchanging gifts, meeting family, or bringing in the new year with someone who is not reached that special place in your heart just yet.  A good rule of thumb is less is more when you’ve met someone new during any one of the holidays. A card with thoughtful words is a good start. If you feel compelled to do a bit more, or really like the person, dinner and a nice bottle of wine or champagne will do the trick. However, if you are single during the holidays (one of the worst times to be single of the year because everyone is with their significant other, sharing love, gifts, and holiday spirit) remember timing is everything. So use the off dating season to reinvent your look, give back & volunteer, study a new language, hit the gym, work on your 5-year-plan, or discover new places in your city (who knows, you may meet...
