I wanted to share this amazing spot with all of you. After deep consideration, I’ve decided to give up my favorite spot to share with all of my readers, followers, daters, and friends. I happened to stumble upon this location when I first moved to Atlanta in 2009. I was apartment hunting and by sheer serendipity, I found one of my favorite spots. Right along the Chattahoochee River, this Land of a Thousand Hills coffee shop is located on the premises of an apartment complex (Walton on the Chattahoochee) . It’s a perfect spot for a first date for A Thousand reasons, but my favorite is because of breathtaking view of the Chattahoochee River.
There menu options are are phenomenal also, if you order a latte you’ll see what I mean. To add to that, there is a variety of space that can easily take any date from regular to romantic. For instance, you can enjoy sipping your coffee and nibbling your sandwiches while watching the river flow. Or you can bring a blanket and have an “impromptu” picnic while laying back on the lawn just below while enjoying the sun, and pointing out cloud figures together. The setting can be relaxed, intimate, romantic, or friendly… you’ll be able to make it into what fits your mood best.
