We were in the room first.

It started in 2007, at the biggest party of the year. Elevated Events was known for cocktails, fashion shows and late nights. Somewhere between the runway and last call, singles were pulled from the crowd, seated across from each other and given a few minutes and a bell.

The room loved it. The venue asked for it again, then made it monthly. Then came Latte Dates in a boutique coffee shoppe in Toledo, Ohio, the first night that was only about the match. Match in Six was born.

By the time The Original Speed Dating Kit went on sale, it had already run more than 100 of our own events. The first order arrived within a week. Kits shipped from New York to LA and everywhere in between, then to Canada, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Mexico, the Caribbean, South America, Europe and Africa.

From 2007 to 2024, Match in Six hosted more than 1,000 events and sold more than 500 kits. The hosting and planning were featured on national television. The last night with the kit was December 2024, in Atlanta.

Now the whole system is back, rebuilt for how rooms run today: the kit, the Match Desk app, the playbooks, and a host who still believes the best connections happen face to face.
